TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- StarMetro is now running some new routes.
Some route updates went into effect on August 1.
They effect routes throughout the StarMetro system, but according to city officials, major changes include:
- Azalea: Increase frequency and no route deviations from Tennessee Street
- Canopy: 30 minute frequency and service to Mission Rd. and White Dr.
- Gulf: Travel to C.K. Steele Plaza with direct service to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and Capital Regional Medical Center via Miccosukee Rd.
- San Luis: Service to Macon Community and travel to C.K. Steele Plaza
StarMetro is also hosting an appreciation event on Monday, August 3 from 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 5p.m. StarMetro officials will be at C.K. Steele Plaza to answer any questions. Refreshments are also offered.
