This is the 4th year that the Southeast Regional Pigfest will be held at the North Florida Fairgrounds. It is scheduled for Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
There will be a State Championship BBQ cookoff with the winners eligible to compete at the Jack Daniels World Championships in Lynchburg and cash prizes totaling $6,000.
Pigfest also features an all-day, live band music lineup, a marketplace for shopping, the Capital City Harley Davidson Car and Bike Show, treats from food vendors throughout the United States and a KidZone that includes a zip line.
Tickets to enter are $7.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids 6-12 and Free for those 5 and under. VIP tickets are available for $25. This fundraising event will benefit the Capital Area Community Action Agency.
