MIDWAY, FL - Second Cup this Tuesday, WTXL's Christine Souders and Malcolm Hornsby went over the highlights of Day 1 of the Republican National Convention.
It was full of drama, with Presumptive Republican Nominee Donald Trump making an entrance.
Lights and fog surrounded him during his short appearance.
Opening the convention, a special performance by Marlana Vanhoose who sang the National Anthem.
Vanhoose was born blind.
She's taken the world by storm with her vocal cords, even performing at the NBA Finals.
Stephen Corbert made an "interesting" appearance.
Corbert dressed up as Caeser Flickerman from the film Hunger Games.
He was escorted off the stage.
Also making a special appearance was First Lade Michelle Obama, not in the flesh, but allegedly Melania Trump's speech.
Trump now being accused of plagiarism, with similar portions in the speech from Michelle Obama's 2008 speech.
