TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - VEX Robotics Tournament "In the Zone" is taking place February 3rd at the Gaither Gym.
More than 125 leading middle and high school students will meet at the FAMU Gaither Gym for an action-packed tournament that will feature more than 15 teams from north Florida who compete with and against other schools in a series of back-to-back robotics challenges.
Students design, build and program the robots to compete in the game-based engineering challenge VEX Robotics Competition that instills a passion for STEM, and teaches them how to become critical problem solvers.
Presented by FAMU School of Architecture and Engineering Technology and School of Education, the event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
