TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The Museum of Florida History is putting on a big celebration for it's 35th Annual Children's Day: Celebrating History through the Decades.

Morgan Szymanski is the Museum Programs Supervisor and on Second Cup to shared what visitors can expect.

The event is Saturday, January 27, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

It's free admission and parking.

This popular event offers an array of performances, activities and history for the whole family!

Visitors can learn about Florida's history from exhibitors like the State's Archaeological Research Lab and Mission San Luis. Or visitors can explore science with local exhibitors such as MoLab., Inc.

As an added bonus, the Pilot Club will be providing complimentary bicycle helmets fitted to protect our young historians. Live performances and activities such as face painting, button making and a variety of games will also be available.
