SECOND CUP: Take a stab at Solving Murder Mystery Riddles

MIDWAY, FL- SECOND CUP we're talking about murder mysteries.

This ahead of the Murder Mystery Dinner Show: Virginia Jones and the Inca Revenge being held throughout May and June in Monticello.

Thursday on Second Cup WTXL's Christine Souders and Max Tsaparis attempted to solve a few murder-related riddles.

Riddle 1: A rich and handsome man named James Leonard was murdered on a Sunday afternoon. At the time of the murder there was: the maid, the cook, the butler, the gardener and the wife. They gave the following statements.

Maid: I was fixing the table.

Cook: I was cooking breakfast.

Butler: I was polishing the silverware and the dishes.

Gardener: I was planting tomato seeds.

Wife: I was reading a book.

Who did it?

Riddle 2: A man was going to bleach his socks because they had gotten muddy the day before. As he was pouring the bleach into the washing machine, he spilled some on the floor. He got some cleaning fluid and mopped it up with a rag. Minutes later he was dead.

What killed him?
