TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The Leon County Department of Health and Tallahassee's AKA's are hosting a National HIV Testing Day Health Fair.
Kiara Dale, a Prevention, Training and Early Intervention Consultant, and AndraLica McCorvey-Reddick, President of the Chi Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, talked about the event on Second Cup.
The health fair is meant to raise community awareness to the serious impact that HIV is having on Leon County, as well as to encourage people to get tested.
The Health fair happening today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will include free and confidential HIV testing, games, food and prizes.
It's located on Tallahassee Southside's DOH-Leon (872 W. Orange Avenue)
