TALLAHASSEE, FL - This weekend it's Community Day with a chance to not only to get the community together, but also to get kids ready for school.
CEO's of Royalty Marketing Group, John McMillon and Al Williams, are organizing the event.
Community Day is July 29th from 8 a.m. to 2.p.m. located on 1102 South Adams Street at the University Barber Shop.
It's a free community event to help the foster care kids from the One Church One Child and other fostering organization like Boys Town Tallahassee Chapter.
Royalty Marketing Group in partnership with Boys Town and One Church One Child and will be offering boys free haircuts and girls hair styling's, including backpacks and school supplies for the 2017 school year.
This event will be bringing kids from the Leon and Gadsden Counties together, and giving the sponsors a great opportunity to reach kids and parents of all ages, backgrounds, and communities.
With the help from Tallahassee Police Department, they're also partnering in a stop the violence event to help bridge the gap between the community and law.
