TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Today on Second Cup, we talked about "Pink Night Out 2017" kicking off this Friday.

Founder of Girl Check 7, Nicky Collins joined us for an interview.

Pink Night Out 2017 is Friday, Sept. 29th.

It begins at 7 p.m. at Higher Dimension Church located at 1230 Blountstown Street in Tallahassee.

The event benefits breast cancer awareness, survivors and support.

It will include a special book release from Nicky Collins, who has overcome breast cancer.

A part of the proceeds from donations that night will benefit "Making Strides" of Leon County.
