Tallahassee, Fla., (WTXL) - "Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do," So begins the first chapter of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, titled "Down the Rabbit Hole."
As performers from an upcoming production dropped in to our studio, they described a Carroll inspired world in which the rabbit hole is re-imagined.
Think 'Alice goes Steam-Punk,' when you consider attending the Ballet Arts Conservatory of Tallahassee's version of the classic story.
Tori Bulecza (Alice) and Lynmari James (the Queen of Hearts) dropped by our studio to demonstrate their pirouettes, and tell us more about their upcoming show.
The curtain will lift over the world populated by Cheshire cats and mad queens on June 9th at 7:30 pm. A second performance will take place on Saturday at 2:30 pm.
Each performance is at Lincoln High School, with tickets priced at $20 for adults and $15 for children.
