TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- An upcoming runway show is making strides against cancer.
Local designer L. Allen is again hosting his annual fashion show.
This event, now in its 7th year, features L. Allen originals, as well as other designers, boutiques and stores.
The night of fun and fashion is also about a fight against breast cancer.
L. Allen started this show while he was a fashion student at FSU, as a way to remember his godfather who passed away from the disease. Each year, it raises awareness and proceeds to support the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
The L. Allen fashion show is Saturday, February 20 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel (101 S. Adams Street).
Tickets start at $40, and limited quantities are available.
