TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Saturday is FAMU's home opener, and the Athletics Department has some important information for fans driving to the game.

The Rattlers are taking on Tennessee State Saturday, September 26 at 6 p.m.

But now, the City of Tallahassee has announced a section on Wahnish Way will be closed this weekend. Crews are working on the roundabout on Railroad Avenue and FAMU Way.

School leaders call it "an untimely closure," since that's one of the main routes to Bragg Memorial Stadium.

FAMU officials are now working with Tallahassee Police and FAMU Public Safety to come up with a new driving pattern.

They hope to have that new flow for game day figured out in the next few days.
