MIDWAY, FL - Today we are learning about an upcoming event to celebrate local men and women making an impact on our community.
It's the Dr. Eva C. Wanton Recognition Luncheon.
Charmette Liptrot came on Midday to talk about the event.
It's hosted by the Leon County Chater of the Charmettes.
The luncheon is being held on June 3rd from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
It costs $45 dollars per person and $360 dollars for a table.
This luncheon benefits Howard University.
