TALLAHASSEE, FL - Our Pet of the Week is Pongo.
Pongo is a 5-year-old American Bulldog.
He was surrendered because the owner said Pongo was scared of a new infant brought into the family.
Pongo is friendly around other dogs and cats, and children over the age of 12.
Young children may make him uncomfortable since he is shy, and we all know how loud and quick moving a young child can be.
Pongo is also house trained.
He walks nicely on a leash.

Also this week, Tallahassee Animal Services is asking the public to hold on to stray animals for a few days as they remodel some of it's facility.
