Held at the Doyle Conner Agricultural Center, hundreds of flowers were in bloom, with all eyes on the orchid.
Orchids are the most highly developed of all flowers and comes in a variety of colors and shades except black.
The uniqueness of the flower is the reason many people, like Susan Drake, turned out to the showcase,
I've been waiting for weeks. Ever since they announce it, it's been on my calendar. It just brings beautiful things to Tallahassee, whether you want to grow orchids or you just want to come see them because they're so special.
The show was presented by the Tallahassee Orchid Society. Several local artists and high school artists also participated in the show.
