TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Here is your chance to give back and thank veterans for their service.
May 16 is the fourth annual Operation Thank You in Leon County. This year, it's about honoring the 1,710 Korean War vets who call Leon County home. The event also celebrates Armed Forces Day.
Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help with Operation Thank You, including ushers, food servers, wheelchair attendants, flag bearers and water attendants. For more information on how to get involved, click here.
Operation Thank You is Saturday, May 16 at the Korean War Memorial in Cascades Park starting at 8:30 a.m. You can also take part on social media using #OperationThankYou.
