OneBlood making Stops in South Georgia to Collect Blood Donations & Give out Gift Cards

Southwest Georgia - Several Walmarts in Southwest Georgia will be holding blood drives for its customers.

Walmarts throughout the area will have several opportunities for people to donate from July 20 through July 31.

Donors will have the opportunity to replenish blood stock and receive a $10 gift card in return.

If you’d like to donate you can make an appointment or just walk in.

Below is a list of Walmart locations that will be hosting blood drives:

• Sylvester: 1102 E Franklin Street
  • July 20, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
     
• Cairo: 361  8th Avenue
  • July 24, 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
     
• Douglas: 1460 Bowen Mill Road
  • July 28, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
     
• Bainbridge: 500 East Alice Street
  • July 29, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • July 31, 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
     
• Fitzgerald: 120 Benjamin Hill Drive SW
  • July 29, 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
     
• Moultrie: 641 East Bypass SE
  • July 29, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • July 31, 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
     
• Thomasville: 15328 US Highway 19 South
  • July 30, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Donors must be generally healthy people who are at least 16 or older and weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo ID is required.
