MADISON, FL – North Florida Community College invites all actors to an April 7 audition for the NFCC Sentinel Upstage Players' summer production of “Murder’s in the Heir” written by Billy St. John.

About the Play: Turn the game of Clue into a play and you have the masterfully entertaining “Murder's in the Heir”. Almost every character in this hilarious mystery has the weapon, opportunity and motive to commit the unseen murder. Each of the heirs to the tyrannical billionaire Simon Starkweather has the means and the motive to do away with him. Starkweather gathers his family and employees to announce the contents of his will. His lawyer, Lois van Zandt, reveals that he has bequeathed vast fortunes to his befuddled niece Fiona, her playboy son Jordan, his great-niece Paula and his grandson Simon III as well as to his many servants. Within hours this will becomes invalid and the rejected heirs are not pleased. Predictably, the lights go out, and Simon is discovered murdered. Simon III is determined to find his grandfather's killer, with the help of detective Mike Davis.

Open auditions will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 6:00 p.m. at NFCC’s Van H. Priest Auditorium located on the NFCC campus in Madison, Fla. No advance preparations are necessary, just show up ready to audition. Rehearsals for the play are set to begin mid April. Show dates are June 10-11.
