TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Hundreds of musicians are converging on the Capital City.
It's for the inaugural North Florida Independent Awards Show.
Gas Tank Musik Group is hosting the ceremony as a way to recognize independent artists and musical pioneers of North Florida, South Georgia, Louisiana, and South Alabama.
This first of its kind festival also gives back to a good cause. It's all about raising awareness about HIV/AIDS. Sponsor MAACA is also offering HIV/AIDS testing during the week.
The North Florida Independent Awards 2016 Main Event is Saturday, January 16 at 8 p.m. at the TCC Auditorium.
