THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - The Covey Film Festival is underway in Thomasville.
Wednesday, participants gathered to speak with the star of The Walking Dead, Scott Wilson, who plays Hirschl on the show.
This is the second time the festival has been in Thomasville.
It will run until November first and benefits the Thomasville Community Resource Center (TCRC), a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that provides after school educational programs, arts, gardening, homework help, counseling, transportation and new parenting classes for hundreds of local kids.
The theme this year is "Inheriting Mother Nature; Inspiring Youth". The festival will be screening movies with that theme throughout the day.
Participants can purchase a pass for $25 to gain access to all events except for the Scott Wilson autograph session and the festival's Gala.
