TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) --  Some bad weather can't stop the Moon Over Maclay Jazz Concert for too long!

The Friends of Maclay Gardens annual concert was originally set to take place in September, but it had to be postponed because of inclement weather.

The headliner is the Longineu Parsons Group. Organizers say Longineu is an internationally acclaimed trumpeter and composer playing jazz, blues and, especially for Moon, Louis Armstrong classics.

The Moon Over Maclay Jazz Concert is now scheduled for Sunday, October 25 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the historic Maclay House lawn. Gates open at 5 p.m.

You're encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, food and drinks.

Tickets are $25 or $10 for students. All tickets previously sold for the original date will be honored.
