MONTICELLO, Fla. (WTXL)-- A married couple is making it their goal to walk coast to coast, starting in Florida.
Saturday night, newlyweds, David and Natalie McDonald arrived in Monticello where ABC27 caught up with them.
They began their walk in St. Augustine and have already walked almost 200 miles!
Coining it a spiritual mission, the couple plans to walk until they make it to San Diego, which is exactly 1,948 miles away from Monticello.
The couple attended a church service Sunday, where David shared his testimony, getting a well deserved break.
"We're both in decent shape. We probably walk around 20 miles a day, but I do have blisters on my feet. She's good so far, but your knees and ankles do get sore. That's whats good about taking Sunday off," said David McDonald.
