TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- One local designer is calling on the power of pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Fashion designer Lawrence Allen owns L. Allen, L.L.C.
He created the "Save the Girls" t-shirt. Proceeds from the sale of the shirt will go back to the Joanna Francis Living Well Foundation. The Tallahassee-based group helps patients and families with support and financial aid when they're fighting breast cancer.
