TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- A Tallahassee church hosted a ministry fair Saturday weekend to get residents in touch with community resources.
It was held at the Family Worship and Praise Center.
Tallahassee Fire and Rescue were both on hand giving residents tips and advice on how to prevent fires in the home.
Organizers said the event was a way to get in touch with community members.
"We have several auxiliaries or ministries within the church. So this is a time for us to stay connected to our community and to our members of the church. A time where our community can come and members, new members, guests can come and meet the different auxiliaries and what we offer," said Fran Barber.
There was also a blood drive to help increase health access and resources in the community.
