TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Florida State University is gearing up once again for the 2014-2015 Opening Nights Performing Arts series.
Christopher Heacox joined the WTXL Sunrise team to give a preview of some of the acts expected.
Some of the most well-known acts scheduled are author and satirist David Sedaris, musicians The Knights with Bela Fleck; and Piper Kerman, author of "Orange is the New Black."
Opening Nights Performing Arts is set for October through April, with the February fest serving as the core of the annual series.
Tickets are on sale for Opening Night members beginning August 12 and continue through September 15. Everyone else can buy their ticket starting September 16.
