TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Leon County leaders are inviting the community to the 9/11 Day of Remembrance and Service ceremony.
The event takes place on Friday at the FSU College of Law on West Jefferson Street.
Those who attend will prepare military care packages and write encouraging letters to service men and women overseas.
It all starts at 11 a.m. Parking will be available at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, 505 W. Pensacola St. at no cost.
This is the fifth year the county has hosted the event.
