TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The most anticipated holiday party in Tallahassee is almost here!
The annual Deck the Halls is back again to kick-off the Winter Festival and give back to the Tallahassee Senior Center.
Each month, 5,000 people take part in Senior Center programs, and Deck the Halls is the largest fundraising effort of the year to support that.
Deck the Halls festivities feature something for everyone, from shopping to live music and even a special martini bar.
There's also a silent auction, with special items up for bid like hot air balloon rides, a pair of season tickets to Theater Tallahassee, tickets to the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra Holiday Magic concert, jewelry and even a beach vacation home.
Organizers say, "have fun and behave yourself with Deck the Halls. All kidding aside, you'll feel good knowing that your generous participation in one evening helped provide Tallahassee seniors with 52 weeks a year of active-living opportunities at the Tallahassee Senior Center."
Deck the Halls is Friday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Tallahassee Senior Center (1400 N. Monroe).
Tickets are $45, and group discounts are available. There's complimentary valet parking.
