2014 Havana Pumpkin Fest to Include Dog Costume Contest

HAVANA, Fla. (WTXL) - The town of Havana invites everyone to the 15th annual Havana Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, October 11, 2014 in downtown Havana.

The all day event will begin with a pancake breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and ends with live performances. Other activities include face painting, pumpkin decorating, story telling, a stroller parade and more. There will be several arts & crafts and food vendors as well as a pumpkin patch to purchase a pumpkin!

Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children. Proceeds, in part, will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Relay for Live organization.

In addition, the Gadsden County Humane Society will be holding a Doggie Costume Contest with prizes! WTXL ABC 27's Abbey Maurer will be one of the judges.

The event is sponsored by the Havana Merchant's Association, Gadsden County TDC, Town of Havana and Visit Florida.
