TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The sounds of Halloween are alive and well!
The City of Tallahassee and the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra are teaming up to host the Halloween Symphony Spooktacular. Organizers say this free event is "family-fun for all to celebrate Halloween."
You can expect to hear Halloween hits such as "Thriller," "Ghostbusters," the theme from Phantom of the Opera, and Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain. According to the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, "Maestro Darko Butorac will be dressed for the occasion, and we hope the audience (no matter the age) will be decked out, too!"
Pre-concert events include a "trick or treat" and other spooky surprises. Food and refreshments will also be on sale.
The Halloween Symphony Spooktacular is Friday, October 30 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Everything is at Cascades Park. The event is free and all are invited.
