TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- An area brewery has a big message this January: "Come together, Tallahassee!"
GrassLands Brewing Company is paying tribute to the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. with a special celebration.
The craft brewery is releasing a special beer made with some of Dr. King’s favorite foods: sweet potato pie and pecans.
The event is also a fundraiser for the Meek Eaton Black Archives at FAMU, and some items from the museum collection will be onsite.
Dr. James Moran from FAMU will be reciting King's "I Have A Dream" speech.
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute Celebration is Saturday, January 16 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at GrassLands Brewing Company (603 W. Gaines St. #7 in Tallahassee).
