TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Mark your calendars! The line-up for this spring's Word of South festival has been revealed.
More than 100 authors and musicians are making their way to the Capital City for the annual Word of South festival, including Grammy Award-winning musician Jason Isbell.
The festival, now in its second year, is all about celebrating the connection between music and literature.
There are performances for all ages and from all kinds of genre.
Plus, a special contest is back for elementary school students. They're invited to write a short story, and the winners will get to see their work performed live on stage.
Word of South is April 8 through April 10 at Cascades Park.
All performances are free, except for the Jason Isbell show. Those tickets are on sale now, starting at $26.
