TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A Tallahassee tradition is back again, inviting you not only to stop and smell the roses... but to take some home with you!

The Rose Sale at the Goodwood Museum and Gardens is turning 24.

Each year, volunteers plant and care for old garden roses in the Goodwood gardens. Then, potted plants from rooted cuttings of these heirloom roses are put up for sale.

Proceeds are then used for restoration and maintenance of the rose gardens at the Plantation.

There are more than 1,100 roses and 100 difference varieties available. Selections are $7 per bush, and it's recommended you come early for the best selections.

The Rose Sale  begins Saturday, February 13 from 9 a.m. until noon. It'll continue on following Saturdays while roses are still available. Everything is at the Goodwood Museum and Gardens (1600 Miccosukee Road).
