TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Animal Shelter Foundation is hoping to take in donations during "Giving Tuesday" to help with animal rescue efforts.
Michael Davino shared the details on Sunrise.
Giving Tuesday Week at The Animal Shelter kicks off Monday and you can give through Tuesday, November 29th.
By doing such, local businesses will match donations.
You can drop off donations at the Tallahassee Animal Services located at 1125 Easterwood Drive by Tome Brown Park or online at animalshelterfoundation.org.
Giving Tuesday is a National Holiday that encourages giving back to charity, following the days of spending on Black Friday & Cyber Monday.
Animal Shelter foundation supporters like Sachs Media Group, Dean Mead, Paws, Prevacus, and the ASF Board have pledged to MATCH over $8000 in donations that are made the week of Tuesday November 22nd – Giving Tuesday at midnight on November 29th.
Then, on Tuesday November 29th, come out to the Animal Shelter from 6-8pm to meet the board, have a snack & drink, then see the animals that they are supporting.
Last year, the community donated over $18,000 to ASF on this day, helping save the lives of many local animals.
