TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- We've survived Black Friday and Cyber Monday... now it's time for Giving Tuesday.
Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back.
On Tuesday, December 1, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together to give.
In the Big Bend Region, more than 280 non-profits have joined forces to promote volunteerism and philanthropy.
Organizers say Giving Tuesday doesn't have to be about financial support, you can also donate your time to local groups.
The initiative, Big Bend Gives Back (BBGB), grew from Giving Tuesday. For more information on the campaign, click here.
You can also take part on social media with #Giving Tuesday.
Big Bend Gives Back is also sharing "#unselfies." Just write why you want to give back, and share a photo on social media. Supporters say seeing this pictures will help raise awareness and get the conversation started about helping area groups.
