TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Children's Week needs you to give them a hand!

The annual Give Us A Hand campaign is now underway, where children's hand artwork from all over the state is collected and put on display at the Florida Capitol.

Organizers call it an "impactful display that reminds lawmakers to consider the children this upcoming legislative session."

From now until January 8, you can mail in children's decorated hand artwork. Send them to:

The Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend Region

Northwood Centre

1940 N. Monroe Street, Suite 70

Tallahassee, FL 32303

The display will be up at Florida Capitol rotunda during Children's Week, January 24-29. Starting January 24, you can also share photos of kids' hand art on social media using #GiveUsAHand.

"Children's Week provides a platform for advocates of children and family issues to come together for a week at the Florida Capitol and deliver the message to legislators that Florida children deserve to be healthy, educated and given the opportunity to reach their full potential," said Jason Zaborske, Children's Week Statewide Coordinator. "With the "Give Us A Hand" campaign, Children's Week organizers hope to fill the Capitol and your newsfeed with an amazing display of children's artwork to remind everyone how important our children are.
