TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Girl Scout Council of the Florida Panhandle (GSCFP) currently has two big promotions: the Fall Product Program and Volunteer Recruitment.
Monday, October 14, 2013 is the last day to purchase goodies from the Girl Scout Fall Product Program, which consists of chocolate, nuts and other candy. The program provides opportunities for girls to discover the world of business through entrepreneurship. Proceeds provides a source of funds for girls to plan activities ranging from trips to community service projects.
The GSCFP is also in need of volunteers to step forward to help lead a troop, plan an activity and share their knowledge. Candidates do not need to be prior Girl Scouts. The Volunteer Recruitment Program is ongoing until all voluntary positions are filled.
