Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL) - The Girl Scout Cookie Program is now underway in communities across North Florida. Girl Scouts are taking pre-orders now through January 27 for the popular cookies. They include eight favorites: Trefoils, Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Dulce de Leche, Thank U Berry Munch, Savannah Smiles and Do-Si-Dos.
Cookie booth sales will begin February 15 through March 16 in partnership with local businesses.
The Girl Scout Run for the Cookies 1 Mile and 5 K Run will be held in Tallahassee, on Saturday, February 8. All 5 K runners preregistering by January 31 will receive a box of cookies.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led business in the world.
