QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Station No. 2 of the Quincy Fire Department was built in 2011.
The $1.2 million facility was built all thanks to grant money.
It's named in honor of former fire chief Howard Smith.
Smith was the first African-American to become the Fire Chief of Quincy, and retired in 2012.
