TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Making a lasting difference to a child in need doesn't always start with a toy.
For some children in the Big Bend, the thing they want most for Christmas, is a forever family and a lasting home.
Everyday this month we here at WTXL are highlighting children in need of forever homes with the help of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Children of all ages throughout the Big Bend are available for adoption including this sibling group.
Meet Melonecia, Eric and Erica, Zavian, Eustacia, Leondras, and Reginald.
They're very bonded and connected to each other. This is a great group of children and they are looking for a fun and active family that will teach them and show them what having a family is truly like.
The ideal family for them will provide a loving family environment while also setting and enforcing consistent rules and boundaries and providing them with the opportunity to strengthen their bond.
Case managers say it is important that they are the only children in the home so that they get as much individual attention as possible.
If you are interested in opening up your home to these children, contact Blair Anthony, Adoptions Specialist Home Finder at the Life Management Center of NW, FL by email at banthony@lmccares.org or by phone at 850-522-4485 ext. 8911.
