TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A longtime local leader is now sharing her experience and advice with the world.
Dorothy Inman-Johnson has released her second book, Lessons from America's Best and Worst Cities.
The book asks, "What makes a a community livable, safe, vibrant and special? Find out what successful cities do differently."
Inman-Johnson was the first black woman elected to the Tallahassee City Commission. She then went on to serve two terms as Tallahassee Mayor.
She's celebrating the release of her book with the community.
There's a book presentation and reception on Tuesday, February 2, starting at 5:30 p.m. at Tallahassee City Hall.
