TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) --The Florida Department of Health in Leon County is hosting National Public Health Week, which started on Monday, April 3rd and is continuing until Sunday, April 9th.

This week is dedicated to promoting the programs, services, and best practices that will help ensure the safety of every resident in the community.

The DOH in Leon County offers programs and services that include the emergency preparedness, disease prevention, vaccinations, HIV testing, children's dental, STD testing, the WIC Nutrition Program, clinical services, and many more.
