TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Here's your chance to support Special Olympics Florida.
This weekend is the Leon County Winterfest Chili Cook-Off.
The family-friendly event is now in its second year, and is one of the largest fundraisers for Special Olympics Florida-Leon County.
Something special to check out are crafts, like ornaments, jewelry and art, that was made by local athletes.
There's also live music and entertainment, donation drawings and food and games, plus a fire truck tour from noon until 2 p.m.
Organizers say many local athletes will also be on hand, and showing them strong community support is important.
The Leon County Winterfest Chili Cook-Off is Saturday, November 7 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Tallahassee United Methodist Church (3004 Mahan Drive).
