TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Farm Share is teaming up with Providence Baptist Church for another free food distribution.
Tallahassee families in need can get free fresh produce and shelf-stable goods, free of charge. Each household will receive between 20 and 25 pounds of food.
These distributions help at least 300 families in a single weekend. Farm Share works with Florida farmers to prevent food waste and distribute healthy food, including fruit, vegetables, milk, bread, and juices, to those who need it most.
With two months to go in its fiscal year, Farm Share reports it has already served more than 3.3 million families this year more than 26 million pounds of food.
