TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- If you have a hard time taking a red pen to your work, the Tallahassee Writers Association is here to help.
TWA President Peggy Kassees joined us again on WTXL Sunrise for a sneak peek at November's monthly meeting.
On the agenda? "Demystifying the editing process: Advice from Professional Editors."
Gina Edwards and Heather Whitaker will be on hand, talking about the editing process.
They're also focusing on the need for self-edits and the role of critique groups and beta readers. Plus, "from first draft to final proofread: the 10 steps of the editing process."
The next meeting of the Tallahassee Writers Association is Thursday, November 19. It's at the American Legion at Lake Ella. As always, you're invited to come early. The doors to the Legion will be open around 5 p.m.
The meetings are open to the public. TWA membership is not required, though guests are encouraged to join if interested.
