TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--Dozens of people put on their cowboy boots and partied for a good cause.

The Cattle Baron's Ball is a unique western-themed evening of live entertainment, gourmet dining, and of course a little line dancing.

It's all to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Participants traveled to Shiloh Farm for the country fun. Cancer survivors like Lisa Vince said it's important to come together for a common cause.

"Cancer in women and cancer in men are at such a high level right now. The research is very important and the local support we need here in the community is also very important," said Vince.

There was also a silent auction and a live performance by the group "Pure Platinum."
