TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Leon County Extension Office is helping the community to get ready for spring.
The 2016 Spring Open House is Saturday at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 615 Paul Russell Rd.
The event is free.
People can learn about gardening and tree-related topics.
Topics included tree Identification, invasive plants, The Florida Friendly Yards Program, composting and wildlife habitat.
Participants will also be able to tour our demonstration gardens and purchase a plant.
