TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The City of Tallahassee is offering some family fun under the stars, with another free movie night!
And very fitting after just celebrating Mardi Gras, it's Disney's The Princess and the Frog.
The animated musical tells the classic fairy tale, set in 1920s New Orleans.
Princess Tiana's story is the latest in the city's special series, Movies in the Moonlight.
City leaders say, "This is also a great opportunity for families to explore before the movie begins. Find a new trail, playground or picnic spot before settling in for the movie. Each city park has unique amenities."
The upcoming Movies in the Moonlight is Saturday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Lafayette Park (501 Ingleside Avenue).
Organizers recommend you bring a chair or blankets to sit on, and get there early. It's free to take part, and there's also complimentary popcorn and drinks provided. Souvenir cups are available for the first 50 people. To help keep you warm, the first 50 will also receive a free blanket.
