CAIRO, GA - A non-profit health center in Cairo is looking to hold it's first ever Community Health Day.
The Angels of Grace Community Wellness Center's founder and CEO Dr. Mary Weaver and Event Coordinator Antraneise Jackson visited Sunrise to talk about the upcoming event on July 30th.
The day will include free health screenings and back to school supplies given out to attendees.
The objective is to get kids prepared for school and start the education about health before heading back to school.
Community Health Day is July 30th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Holder Park.
It's a free event and you can donate school supplies.
Organizers are giving out 150 backpacks filled with supplies to area students.
