TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- Another COCA Connection, where we highlight arts and culture in the community. On this week's edition, we are taking a look at the Southern Shakespeare Company and the play that is coming to Tallahassee.
Phil Croton, the Education Director, at the Southern Shakespeare Company sat down for an interview to bring light to the "American Moor" play. The play will make its Southeastern premiere on Thursday, Jan. 12th and Friday, Jan. 13th at Florida A&M University 's Lee Hall Auditorium.
Actor and playwright Keith Hamilton Cobb stars in the one-person play that uses Shakespeare's Othello to examine the experience of black men in American.
