TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- It's never too early for teens to start thinking about their futures.
That's the idea behind the upcoming Youth to Career Fair, during "Be Out Day."
Leon County doesn't have school on Friday, so city leaders are using this free day as a way to get kids involved and excited about what's to come.
Organizers want to give local teens exposure to a variety of job fields, with career prep workshops.
The Youth to Career Fair 2015 is Friday, October 16 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. It's at the Palmer Munroe Teen Center (1900 Jackson Bluff Road).
The Teen Center is hosting activities for middle and high school students all day on Friday, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack will be served.
